The De Fanti family’s story is one of great determination.
Nowadays, Filiberto, the father, is the one who has driven with passion his winery towards the exclusive production of Merlot,
single- variety vinification.
His hand is still on the tiller but his children: Marco, Veronica and Andrea, give great support in the production of a wine with sharp identity and quality.
The fact that they are all united in this project is an immense strength for the whole enterprise.

100% Merlot IGT Tuscany Etruscan Coast
Scored 87/100 on "GUIDA VERONELLI"
Brilliant ruby red tones with garnier hues, with a penetrating pleasant aroma and sleek fragrances of ground cover and juniper.
Well paired with white and red grilled meat dishes, with cured meats and aged cheeses, and also with rich tasting first dishes.
Alcohol content: 13,5%
Yield: 2000 kilograms/ha
Harvest: Manual harvest during the second week of September.
Vinification: Inox steel vats at a controlled temperature of 24° with a 10-days period of maceration.
Malolactic f.: Natural fermentation, through the months of November and Dicember.
Ageing: 6 months in steel tanks then ageing in the bottle.

Le Bugne
100% Sangiovese IGT Tuscany Red
The color is an intense and vibrant ruby-red, with a scent of berries and mediterranean flowers. Fresh, full tasting and tannin rich, but sleek with a long lasting fruitish flavour. It pairs well with wild game, roasts and firs dishes with meat-based sauce. This wine was a favourite of Pellegrino Artusi for many of his dishes in "The Science of Cooking and the Art of Fine dining".

Yield: 1500 kilograms/ha
Harvest: Manual harvest during the first week of October.
Vinification: Inox steel vats at a controlled temperature of 28° with two pumping of must over the grape dregs per day and a 10 day period of maceration.
Malolactic f.: Natural fermentation, through the months of November and Dicember.
Ageing: 6 months in steel tanks then at least two months of ageing in the bottle.

Le Dierne
100% Trebbiano of Tuscany IGT
The colour is a rich straw-yellow with bright hues. It gives intense vegetal scents with a slight apricot aroma. Fresh and nicely sour. It pairs well with vegetables-based and delicate tasting fish-based dishes.
Alcohol content: 12,5%
Yield: 1000 kilograms/ha
Harvest: Manual harvest between the end of September and the fist days of October.
Vinification: 20 days into Inox steel vats at a controlled temperature of 15.
Malolactic f.: Natural fermentation, through the months of November and Dicember.
Ageing: In the bottle.
