It all began in 2001 when the De Fanti family: Filiberto, his wife Anna Maria, and the three children, Marco, Veronica and Andrea, left Verona to come to Tuscany and felt in love with this unique territory as to start with an appealing, new adventure.
This is how De Fanti Estate started, and over times has maintained the features of a small farming hamlet.
Located in the district of Bibbona on the hills near the
Tyrrhenian coast, the Estate occupies an area of about 4 hectares with vineyards, olive groves and a large park-garden that surrounds the Farmhouse, and with a stunning panorama of priceless beauty across the hills reveals a magnificent profile over the countryside and down to the coast.
The microclimate and other features of this territory have allowed us to create a little corner of paradise, an oasis of tranquility much appreciated by those who
seek the typical Tuscan environment, almost forgotten nowadays.
The unique hilly soil is ideal for the cultivation of vines, and producing wine from our own vineyard became our passion. The result is a niche production of Merlot and Trebbiano. Our wines and our extra virgin olive oil are the purest expression of this great quality.
